Tender/Quotation Specialist

As a Tender/Quotation Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and ensuring tendering process include strategy for assigned segment and area to be covered and to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets selling for products, systems and/or services in a profitable way. Reporting to Local Product Group Manager, you will be coordinating of tender reviews and deadlines and adjust them to the frameworks given by the customers. This position is based in Tangerang/Jakarta.

Your responsibilities

Managing, directing, and monitoring the overall performance of the tender process team to obtain maximum efficiency, quality, service, and profitability for the organization

Establishing tender targets and ensures order achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed

Identifying opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area, market segmentation, and determines plans for market covered

Supporting the development of strong relationships with key customers, consultant, and all stakeholders. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers. Ensuring efficient marketing communications

Ensuring achievement of order / sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin. Participating on negotiations of key contracts. Managing ongoing costs

Reviewing and monitoring client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Identifying and managing potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels

Maintaining and improving mechanisms for obtaining opportunities, surveying, and measuring tender process and disseminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities

Your background

Minimum bachelor’s degree in the relevant field

Practical experience in a similar position advantageous (MV & EHouse)

A pro-active attitude towards work & the ability to work autonomously

High attention to detail, formatting & proof-reading skills

Excellent understanding of tenders across a range of project categories

Ability to work under pressure & too strict time frames & strong time-management and organizational skills

Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
